PROJECT2VIDA! aims to better understand the barriers that Latinx and African American communities are facing to accessing the COVID-19 vaccine as well as inform these communities about the associated risks and benefits of the vaccine by providing medically accurate information. To better combat COVID-19 health misinformation, UC San Diego Health has partnered with San Ysidro Health to take vaccines from the clinic to members of our community at Pop-Up events. Here PROJECT2VIDA! empowers individuals to get vaccinated for free while educating them on all things COVID-19.
