PREPARE, Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Longevity Science, CHARM and Resilient Center partnered to host an in-person symposium titled, Emerging Infectious Diseases: Are We Prepared?  Its program included a keynote address by Dr. Tom Frieden, President Obama's CDC Director; a group pandemic tabletop exercise led by Resilient's PI, Dr. Eliah Aronoff-Spencer; and a panel with HWSPH's Dean Cheryl Anderson, UC San Diego Health Leadership, PREPARE's Director Dr. Davey Smith and CHARM's Faculty Lead, Dr. Victor Nizet.
